    I appreciate David Mercer, APN for the Wound, Ostomy and Continence team. His compassion and skill are remarkable. We had a patient who was really scared about her complex wound care needs. David built her confidence in our care and helped her be more in control of a scary time. His bright smile is the best!

    Clinical pharmacists are great resource people! Whenever I get overwhelmed with the pharmacology and patho of our critically ill patients I know who to call. Thank you for helping to manage so many complicated details.

    I work on 3Central (general medicine floor). We have the best manager and I work with other AWESOME RN’s and PCA’s. I would recommend any new nurses to this unit, because it is the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I would like to say thanks to the staff in the NNICU for being such a great team. The staff in the NNICU work hard every day to make sure our patients receive the best possible care, and by working well together as a team we are able to achieve better outcomes. I am proud to be a part of the NNICU.

    I like to comment about Odessa Thomas who is the Neurology chair’s secretary. She is always willing to help out — whether big or small request. She helps to keep the other admin assistants straight. always has a smile on her face.

    As a Chaplain Resident, it is my privilege to round to all the ICUs and ED. Uniformly I find nursing staff who are alert to patients with spiritual needs that can be referred to the Chaplain. This interdisciplinary support is a major encouragement in my work. I look forward to entering each unit!
